Potential of wood as a building material will be discussed at BAU 2017

16-21 January 2017: BAU, the world’s leading trade fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, which takes place from 16 to 21 January 2017 in Munich, Germany, says it will “feature a number of new developments for wood materials, timber construction and facade systems as well as interior work, stairs, floor coverings and accessories”. The show will, for example, address the capabilities of wood as a building material as a part of its “Solutions for the Future of Building” forum.

BAU is tailored to all key visitor target groups of interest for the building sector, including architects, interior designers, engineers, investors, the building trade, and research institutions.

More than 2000 exhibitors will over an exhibition area of around 180.000 m2. Structural timber, interior fittings and wood derivatives will be presented together in Hall B5.
