  • Germany now has more than 1 million m3 of FSC certified forests

    FSC certification in German forests has crossed the 1 million m3 threshold in March, which means that roughly 10% of the country’s forests are now certified. And the trend towards more sustainable forest management continues, according to FSC Germany. 

  • FSC disassociates from DLH

    With the DLH Group, FSC has again disassociated from a large timber industry player. The disassociation was announced on 12 February and justified with alleged repeated purchases of timber from Private Use Permits (PUPs) in Liberia, in “violation of a large number of forest and other laws”.
